Boris's Brexit Mess

November 19, 2019 11:18 AM

Jo Swinson and helpersIt's clear that the next
General Election is the
Brexit election.
The simple choice facing voters
in Newark and Southwell will
be to either Remain or Leave.
A Lib Dem majority
Government would revoke
Article 50 and stop Brexit.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson
- aided by Nigel Farage and
Jacob Rees-Mogg - want to
deliver a no deal Brexit costing
this country dear, and be
disastrous for the NHS, jobs
and the environment.
Shutting down Parliament was
undemocratic. Trying to force
through a sham deal without
scrutiny is undemocratic.
Brexit is catastrophic for
Britain and people are realising
how important EU membership
is to our country and our
future.
David Watts, Parliamentary
candidate for Newark, said:
"We want to stop Brexit. We've
been fighting it for over three
years and we've led opposition
to Brexit in Parliament.
"We want Britain to remain in
the EU because it's best for our
country - for our economy,
fighting climate change and
protecting our rights and
public services.
"A Lib Dem majority
Government would revoke
Article 50 and stop Brexit."
In Newark the Liberal
Democrats are the strongest
Remain party and the best
placed to stop Brexit.
Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party
is helping the Conservatives
deliver Brexit. Over 30 times
they have either voted with the
Government or sat on their
hands.
In the EU elections the Lib
Dems polled double the Labour
vote in Newark and Sherwood.
David added: "In the election
use your vote to stop Brexit.
Vote Liberal Democrat."
